Around Missoula

Missoula is surrounded by recreational opportunities. Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks are just a few hours from Missoula. Close by, you can enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, rafting and more.

Early June can be cool and rainy in mountainous Western Montana. Often in early June, if it’s raining in the valleys it may be snowing at higher elevations. Glacier Park’s Going to the Sun Highway typically doesn’t open until mid-June.

Accommodations:

The host hotel for the meeting will be the DoubleTree hotel Missoula/Edgewater. Room rate is $86+tax per night. The deadline for reserving a room has been extended until May 28th.
